| The Saint-Petersburg State Academic Symphonic Orchestra .The Saint-Petersburg State Academic Symphonic Orchestra was Founded in 1967 by the outstanding masters of Saint-Petersburg School of conducting, Nikolay Rabinovitch, Carl Eliazberg and Eddward Grikurov who led it to its musical and human way , which was lately supported by their pupils, conductors of the next generation: Y. Temirkanov, M. Yasons, Y. Simonov, E. Serov and others . Its names and leaders were changing but during all those years the orchestra kept forming its own recognisable style, seeking and finding its repertoire and faithful listeners.
