Mathilde CARRE (pianist) : She
was first trained at the national conservatory of
Clermont-Ferrand (France) where she has obtained a gold
medal at the age of fifteen. Then, she became a student
at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot,
under the supervision of Germaine Mounnier. She was
successively awarded the Diplome de Concertiste in
chamber music and the Diplome Superiur d'execution, with
honours, for the piano. In 1998, She won the second Prize
at the Sofia International Piano Competition (Bulgaria)
and the Special Prize "Chopin", after winning
the first Prize of International Chamber Music
Competition at the 1996 U.F.A.M.,in Paris. She often
gives concerts in France and abroad in Italy, Austria,
Korea...and she has been invited twice at the renowned
Chopin Festival of Paris... |
